Ms. Romero is a graduate of the University of California, Santa Cruz, where she obtained her B.A. in Sociology with a Minor in Politics. While a student at UCSC, Ms. Romero engaged in an extensive field study practicum at the Santa Cruz Day Worker Center, working closely with program design and evaluation pertaining to day laborer populations. Ms. Romero also served as the Fundraising Chair of the Pre Law Society at UCSC.
Previously, Ms. Romero served as a Teaching Assistant at Project Scientist in Pasadena, where she participated in STEM instruction for young women from the ages of four to twelve in order to increase the interest and participation of minority females in the STEM fields.
Ms. Romero is fluent in Spanish and brings a wealth of experience to the firm from the academic, private, and non-profit sectors.
